Erm…who else still has their Halloween decorations up? Please tell me I’m not the only one.
So is this year’s Vegan MoFo amazing or what? We’ve got over 700 bloggers playing the MoFo game – amazing stuff, kids. It’s got me feeling inspired, I tell you! Inspired and excited. And generous! I bet that got your attention, eh?
Because Vegan MoFo is about vegan food, and food is all about tasting, I’m going to be doing a few Frenchy product reviews, and I’ll be giving a way a few (little) products for you kids at home to try. Sound good? Well then, just tune in the next three Fridays : November 12th, 19th and 26th for your chance to win a little somthin’ somethin’ – even if you live in the U.S.! Or Australia! Or Japan! World-wide love, kids, that’s what the Shellyfish is all about.
And speaking of inspiration, how about an interview with a new vegan? I’m very excited about it, and I can’t wait to share it with you! I know many of you are “pre-gans” and are “vegan-curious”, but are afraid of giving up your cheese. It’s never too late to go vegan! Stay tuned!

Because I cannot do a MoFo post without some foodyness, I give you our Rainbow Warrior Zombie Cookies we made for Halloween. They be pink, and they be proud. And delicious. They are of course a Halloween (and Vegan MoFo) tradition!

Yay! Exciting plans. I like the idea of interviewing a new vegan, too.
I didn’t put up any Halloween decorations… which also means I didn’t take any down! Haaah.
There’s a house down the street that still has a truckload of Halloween decorations up! The windows are boarded up like an abandoned house, there is a whole graveyard in their front lawn, faux spiderwebs hanging from their trees. I guess they don’t want to let go!
Interviews! Recipes! Giveaways! Yay!!
You should give yourself away and pick me as the winner!!! Yeah, then we can have a bakefest and tromp all over Portland eating up goodness. DO IT!!

Ha, I love “vegan-curious” as a term, I have a few shy friends like that. Just take the leap folks! So jealous that you and Mihl got to meet up, that must have been a blast!

I still have a few teeny tiny pumpkins sitting outside, but thanks to you, I was inspired to chop into my two bigger pumpkins and roast them up this weekend! It was great fun!

One year I kept my Halloween decorations up until the next Halloween and beyond – I think it was a year and a half they were up in total!

Guilty! When my son came home after dark last night he said, “We no longer have Halloween lights up, now they are Harvest Lights!” (Works for me.)

Vegan MoFo is short for Vegan Month of Food. If you click on the Vegan MoFo logo, it’ll lead you to the main Vegan MoFo blog which will explain a little more. The Vegan Month of Food is a month where vegan food bloggers try to blog as many times as possible (most are aiming for 20) about vegan food, veganism, and all that good stuff!
