Don’t you love “birthday twins”? You know, people with whom you have absolutely no connection to other than you were born on the same day?
Simone de Beauvoir is one of my heros for so many reasons. She has her critics, but I have so much respect for her and the sacrifices she made to “get things done”. A brilliant woman full of class.*
Like him or not, Jimmy Page helped shape the face of music today. He’s also a birthday twin! How many of us, when first learning to play guitar, stumbled through “Stairway to Heaven”?*
Is there a Nobel Peace Prize in my future? I’d love to be so instrumental in helping so many, just like Rigoberta Menchù! Now she’s a rock star.*
